During the first days of 2009 we carried out test sailings with Falck rescue teams who were very impressed by the performance of our new BRIG Falcon 620 during the test sailings in Korsør. In the same period we delivered 2 smaller BRIG Falcon 500 which has become a standard vessel at many Falck stations.

In the period 15th-18th January we held an internal company seminar, this time in London – we held our meetings at the International Hotel in maritime surroundings in the old dock areas which have been renovated over the last decades and now constitute a thrifty business district.

We also had the possibility to visit London Boatshow where we saw the new collections from Crewsaver (see for yourself at: www.crewsaver.co.uk ). A party at the canal boat “G.A.K G.A.K ZODIAC” on the Thames ended some good working days where the course was set for all 27 participants for the coming months where we shall not be able to set “the direction and strength of the wind”, but we can adjust “the spread of the sails”!

HAPPY NEW YEAR
2009 has now begun and we can already now reveal several exciting project for the coming months.

Pro-570 will be introduced sometime in April – this vessel will be a bigger brother of our very well-sailing Pro-520. The cast has been made – and we have great expectations of this vessel which will be a good working vessel of a suitable size, which can still be trailed.

Pro-700 is a completely new concept from us where we have chosen to use some of the lines which are typical from English manufacturers – a very deep V-hull. The vessel will be fitted with hypalon tubes, and we shall have it CE-certified to 225 HP.

Pro 150 Advance is our new lifejacket with “control function” where the sailor can easily see whether the cartridge and release are fitted correctly. Furthermore it is lined with comfortable fleece at the neck – and the lifejacket is delivered in a good carrier bag – the retail price will be DKK 799,-.

On 8th January Pro-Safe will be 10 years – quite a lot has happened since we started in rented rooms in a basement on Amager at DKK 1.400,- per month till now where our premises and activities are at a somewhat different level. BUT coming from scratch to a turnover during the last 6 years of more than 30 million DKK per year – this gives us some tools which will be most relevant for the coming years where things will not happen spontaneously…..
