Pro-Safe was founded by Søren West who has had close contacts with the maritime and military sectors for many years. In 2000 the company was converted into a joint-stock company: Pro-Safe Reflection A/S – and as the name implies the company does not only focus on maritime safety products but also on reflective products. Until 2001 the company was conducted from premises in Copenhagen, but in 2001 we moved to Korsør – and by the end of 2004 all activities were concentrated there.
The premises of Pro-Safe are the premises used by the company Scanhydro ApS for many years, a company which was taken over at the beginning of 2004. This company has the distribution in Denmark of the diving products from Aqualung – as well as a wide range of other diving equipment (compressors, computers, harpoons, etc.).
